Recently, several diligent villagers from Iron Bucket Village reported to the editor that some villagers (slackers) were idling during the day, collectively chatting and daydreaming inside the villager apartments.

So the editor personally visited Iron Bucket Village to observe and found that not only were some villagers slacking off during work hours, but some hadn’t even gotten out of bed after daybreak???

The morning is the most important part of the day, and laziness is a bad habit—it’s time for a change! This episode of Iron Bucket Village Renovation aims to solve these problems and get these villagers back on track!
Adventurers know that even in the middle of the night, villagers will quickly get up when a bell is rung.

If we make a bell that rings as soon as there’s daylight, wouldn’t that solve the problem~
The editor immediately added a simple small bell tower on top of the apartment building, which is both convenient for telling time and serves as an alarm clock.

Located at the highest point in the village, it can sense changes in light immediately. This bell will ring at regular intervals as the sky gradually brightens.

The principle is also very simple: a daylight sensor emits less power as moonlight weakens, and this change can be detected by an observer~ Thus, the bell is triggered to ring~

Similarly, as the sky gradually darkens, the bell will also ring to remind villagers to go home from work and sleep, ensuring rest (and not wandering under the moonlight) time~

After this renovation, villagers will be reminded for both starting and ending work. Isn’t the editor very considerate?
Currently, there are three farms in the village, and their food production can meet the needs of all villagers. However, the farms are completely open, meaning any villager can go to the farms and feast on the buffet.

Upholding the principle of “more work, more gain; no work, no gain,” the editor decided to transform the farms into enclosed, water-flush harvesting farms, with unified collection and processing of all produced food.

The villagers with the busiest work in the village certainly deserve better treatment. The editor arranged panoramic rooms for them by the fields, eliminating the pain of commuting to work. Plus, working in the fields ensures they are basically well-fed and clothed.

When the crops in the fields mature, the editor can pull a lever to release water for harvesting. The flowing water also serves as a cleaning agent. Finally, hoppers will collect the crops into the chests below.

Let’s see how the harvest is! The yield is not bad at all~ Worthy of the most dedicated villagers!

Poisonous potatoes? Time to deduct some wages!
After collecting the crops uniformly, we also need to distribute them reasonably. This is where the Iron Bucket Village Supermarket comes into play.
As a commercial building, it will be the future CBD and should be located in the central area of Iron Bucket Village.
Right next to the prime location of the village central square, thanks to this lucky villager for reluctantly sacrificing their old house.

After the crops mature, are cleaned by flowing water, and collected, they will be transported directly to the supermarket warehouse (dispenser) via hoppers, ensuring the freshness and safety of the food.

The supermarket has a minimalist decor, with only the store name, product labels, and some exterior advertisements posted.

Villagers who earn emeralds by trading with adventurers can go to the supermarket to shop. They just need to throw emeralds into the hopper to get the desired goods~

Now, if you don’t work, you won’t earn emeralds, and without emeralds, you can’t eat delicious food! It’s believed that villagers who like to slack off will feel a heightened sense of crisis and start working hard~
